Add the iCal (.ics) export URL of your listing on the property's "Calendar sync" tab. It is checked the moment you add it and then automatically every 30 minutes; if you do not want to wait, press "Sync now" on your company's Integrations tab.
Airbnb and Vrbo reservations come through as reservations directly in your dashboard. Booking.com and any other platform go through a queue first, so you can confirm which entries are real bookings and which are your own calendar blocks, because those calendars mix the two.

What a calendar does not carry, and what it does not change
An iCal calendar only carries the check-in and check-out dates and the booking reference — no platform's calendar includes the guest's email, phone, or the real number of people.
So on an imported reservation, you add the contact yourself so the check-in link can be sent, and you confirm how many guests there are. BookCheckin will not file the traveller report for an imported reservation until you have confirmed that number — deliberately, so a report is never filed with a guessed guest count.
As with any check-in link, the property needs verified SES Hospedajes credentials or, in Catalonia, the Mossos establishment identifier; in the Basque Country, the Ertzaintza establishment code. And calendar sync does not change where a property files — it only brings reservations in.
Catalonia (Mossos d’Esquadra) and the Basque Country (Ertzaintza) each run their own police registry: for both, BookCheckin prepares the official file and you upload it to their portal. Everywhere else in Spain the SES Hospedajes submission is automatic.

Yes. It is checked when you add it and then automatically every 30 minutes. If you do not want to wait, "Sync now" on your company's Integrations tab checks it immediately.
Will it file the traveller report automatically?+
Not until you confirm how many guests there are. The calendar does not carry that data, so BookCheckin waits for your confirmation before filing any report for a calendar-imported reservation.
