What happens, step by step

1. Create your account
First name, last name, email and password. That is all. No card is asked for and nothing is charged.
2. Add your property
Register your company and your property. Do it now, or leave it for later from the dashboard.
3. Enter your SES Hospedajes credentials
The ones the Ministry issued when you registered your establishment. Without them no report can be filed. If your property is in Catalonia the equivalent is your Mossos d’Esquadra establishment identifier, which you add on the property’s Legal tab — the same one-time step, and no SES credentials needed.
4. File your first report
Your first check-in link is free and needs no card. You create the link, your guest fills in their details from their phone, and the report goes to SES Hospedajes inside the 24-hour deadline. In Catalonia the link and the guest flow are the same, and they end in a file in the official Mossos format that you download and upload yourself at the Mossos portal, inside those same 24 hours.
5. Choose a plan and add your card
To create more links, you choose a plan and add your card. That is where your 3 free months begin — nothing is charged during the trial.

If your property is in Catalonia it files to the Mossos d’Esquadra rather than SES Hospedajes, and that works here: you add the identifier the Mossos issued your establishment on the property’s Legal tab, confirm it, and from that moment you can create check-in links. Until that identifier is on file a Catalan property cannot create links, so it is the first thing to do. BookCheckin then prepares your guests’ file in the official Mossos format; you upload it yourself at registreviatgers.mossos.gencat.cat — we never submit it for you.
BookCheckin supports accommodation in the Basque Country: add the establishment code the Ertzaintza issued you on the property’s Legal tab and switch it on, and the check-in link, the ID scan and the signature work end to end. BookCheckin then prepares the file in the XML format of the Ertzaintza’s Registro Hostelero, and you download it and upload it in their portal with your own login. BookCheckin never signs in to that portal and holds no Ertzaintza credential. Until that code is on file a Basque property cannot create links, so it is the first thing to do. The Ertzaintza’s Registro Hostelero is the most recent route we have opened. If their portal rejects a file, tell us from the contact page — or from Support inside your dashboard — with the error message, and we will fix it.
